NOLA - what a city!

So after five days in New Orleans, we still haven't seen it all! Of course, I don't know how you could -- there is so much to see and do -- and that's just the tourist types of things to do!
My mom, brother, sister-in-law and I, all came to New Orleans for Christmas. We are here a week, and what a week it's been so far!
We've walked the French Quarter as well as toured it in a mule-pulled buggy, we've had cafe-au-lait and beignets at Cafe DuMonde three times! We've enjoyed crab and shrimp and even tried grilled oysters (Steven loved, the rest of us said, OK, but just a bite). We've driven to Biloxi, Mississippi and then a few miles further into Alabama, just so we could say we were there. A ferry across the Mississippi River let us walk around Algiers, and then we saw a New Orlean's Christmas tradition -- Celebration in the Oaks, with great lights and even a Cajun "Night Before Christmas" story. Here are my Mom and I in the StoryLand part of the Celebration in the Oaks.
Tomorrow it's Baton Rouge, then Sunday a tour of Katrina devastation and then Monday visiting some plantations before we head to the airport.
It's been a full trip. Here are some of the pictures we've taken.
